Support Worker - Nield House, Compton Area

Statim Healthcare Ltd is recruiting Support Workers to work at Cygnet Nield House in the Nield House, Compton area.

We are a healthcare staffing agency supplying staff to Cygnet Health Care services nationwide. We have ongoing shifts available including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

What you need

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Support Worker in a mental health or healthcare setting
• Understanding of person-centred care and recovery-focused approaches
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
• Right to Work in the UK

It would be an advantage if you have

• PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) training
• MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) training
• Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings

Your duties

• Supporting service users with daily living activities and personal care
• Monitoring and recording observations
• Supporting with meal times and social activities
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Providing emotional and practical support to promote independence
• Following care plans and risk assessments
