Home Manager (Nurse Qualified)
£55,000–£60,000 per year | 40 Hours per Week

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Qualified Care Home Manager to oversee two small, well-established services providing specialist support for adults living with complex needs and mental health conditions.
Leading both a nursing home and a residential home, you'll play an important role in creating environments where residents receive exceptional, person-centred care and colleagues feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. Working across both services, you'll provide strategic direction while remaining visible and approachable, ensuring each home continues to deliver the highest standards of care, compliance, and clinical excellence.
This role is perfect for and experienced and confident care home manager who enjoys developing teams, driving service improvements, and making a meaningful difference to the lives of residents every day.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
- Previous experience as a Care Home Manager is essential.
- Experience supporting adults with complex needs and mental health conditions.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to successfully manage multiple teams or services.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, governance, and clinical compliance.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused management style.
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership across both the nursing and residential services, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of each home.
- Lead, motivate, and develop multidisciplinary teams, creating a positive culture focused on quality and continuous improvement.
- Ensure every resident receives safe, compassionate, and person-centred care tailored to their individual needs.
- Monitor clinical standards, governance, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance, maintaining high-quality outcomes across both services.
- Oversee staffing, recruitment, occupancy, budgets, and operational performance to ensure both homes continue to thrive.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Analyse performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement initiatives that enhance both resident outcomes and service quality.
- Support, coach, and develop senior staff, encouraging professional growth and strong leadership throughout both homes.
- Promote a culture where dignity, respect, independence, and wellbeing remain at the heart of every decision.
