Help shape the future of Denbighshire’s economy!

Are you passionate about supporting businesses to grow and thrive? Do you want to play a pivotal role in delivering real economic impact across Denbighshire?

We are looking for a confident and motivated professional to lead the development and delivery of business support activity that directly contributes to Denbighshire’s Economic Strategy.

Working within the Economic and Business Development Team, you will take ownership of key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are well-targeted, effectively delivered, and aligned to clear economic outcomes. You will also support and manage a team member, helping to maintain focus, momentum and performance.

You will be at the heart of our engagement with businesses - building strong relationships, providing tailored advice, and working collaboratively with internal services, partners and stakeholders to create the right conditions for growth.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll support entrepreneurs, established businesses and potential investors, helping to strengthen town centres, employment sites and rural communities across the county.

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and collaborative, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for economic development. You’ll be comfortable managing projects, influencing stakeholders and working across a range of priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to make a real difference - supporting business growth, driving investment, and helping to build a resilient, vibrant local economy.

For an informal discussion, please contact James Evans on 01824 708 414.

Appointment subject to satisfactory references.
