Job Introduction

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused FM Multiskilled Operative to join our team at HMRC Salford Trinity Bridge House. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, supporting daily operations, and providing an excellent first point of contact for visitors, customers, and clients.

You will play an important part in ensuring the building is safe, welcoming, and maintained to the highest standards while supporting the wider Sodexo team with a variety of cleaning, porter, and customer service duties.

What You'll Do

• Carry out cleaning duties across designated areas to meet agreed service standards and expectations.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently, including daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual cleaning tasks.
• Set up meeting rooms and support client requests, including last-minute changes.
• Assist with hospitality services, including coffee stations, refreshments, and working lunches.
• Provide porter support, including moving furniture, handling deliveries, and supporting mailroom/postage duties when required.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, materials, and storage areas safely and correctly.
• Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults promptly.
• Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH, and site-specific procedures.
• Use appropriate PPE and safety signage when required.
• Respond to customer requests and resolve issues professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and colleagues.
• Support the team during busy periods, holidays, and sickness cover.
• Attend training sessions and team meetings to help improve service delivery.

What You Bring

Essential

• A positive attitude with a willingness to support the team.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Ability to complete tasks to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors when required.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Desirable

• Previous experience in cleaning, facilities, hospitality, or customer service.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently.
