Level 3 Teaching Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about helping them make progress both academically and personally.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will

• Support teaching and learning across KS1 classrooms
• Deliver targeted reading and maths interventions to small groups of children
• Support children with Special Educational Needs within the classroom
• Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver engaging learning activities.
• Monitor and record pupil progress during intervention sessions
• Help to create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Has recent experience working in a primary school setting
• Has experience delivering reading and maths interventions
• Has knowledge of supporting children with SEN
• Patient, nurturing and enthusiastic
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Is committed to supporting children's learning and development.
