About this role

What skills and experience we're looking for

The candidate should have

Previous experience working with children.Safeguarding and Child Protection knowledge. Be willing to undertake job related training to include but not limited to Food Handling and Allergy training.

The candidate will have the skills, knowledge and experience to

  • Ensure the safety of pupils during the Breakfast Club; taking into account pupil ages, additional needs and behaviour.
  • Arrange age-appropriate activities for pupils.
  • Be supportive, nurturing and understanding.
  • Have excellent positive behaviour management skills.
  • Ensure application of the school behaviour policy during this period, referring serious issues to the Head of School where applicable.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to lead and inspire a team.
