About this role
We are currently recruiting experienced Forklift Counterbalance Drivers to join a busy logistics operation through an agency. This is an ongoing role within a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment, supporting the movement and storage of goods.
Key responsibilities include
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Moving pallets and stock throughout the warehouse
Stacking and storing goods in designated locations
Assisting with stock control and inventory movements
Supporting general warehouse duties when required
Carrying out daily forklift safety checks
Following all company health and safety procedures and site regulations
You will need
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent)
Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a warehouse or logistics environment
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to assist with general warehouse duties when required
Ongoing, long-term agency assignment
Regular weekly work available
Potential for extended placements based on performance and business needs

Shift availability will depend on site requirements and may include
Early shifts
06:00 – 14:00
Day shifts
08:00 – 16:00
Late shifts
14:00 – 22:00
Night shifts
22:00 – 06:00 (where available)
Flexibility is required as shift patterns may vary depending on operational demand.
£12.71 per hour
Overtime available at enhanced rates (subject to client requirements)
Weekly pay (depending on agency payroll terms
)
