Are you a Senior Civil Engineer looking to work on a genuinely varied portfolio of projects with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy that offers clear progression, flexible working and a collaborative culture?
I'm working with an award-winning engineering consultancy that's continuing to grow its Civil Engineering team in Cambridge. With a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, education, commercial, defence and public sector projects, they're looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to play a key role in project delivery and help mentor the next generation of engineers.
The Role
You'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of civil engineering projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction, working closely with structural engineers, architects and other multidisciplinary teams.

- Healthcare
- Public sector infrastructure
Typical responsibilities include
- Producing highways and drainage designs for development infrastructure projects.
- Designing Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 schemes.
- Preparing SuDS and drainage strategies.
- Managing projects from feasibility through detailed design and construction support.
- Liaising directly with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
- Supporting fee proposals and assisting with project financial management.
- Mentoring Graduate and Civil Engineers.
About You
You'll ideally have
- 5+ years' UK Civil Engineering consultancy experience.
- Strong highways and drainage design experience.
- Experience delivering development infrastructure projects.
- Civil 3D and drainage software experience (InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage or similar).
- Working towards Chartership or already Chartered.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
