Are you a Teaching Assistant who loves working with children but would like some extra income doing something equally rewarding?
Maybe you're looking for a role that fits perfectly around your school hours.
Perhaps you're hoping to develop your leadership experience.
Or maybe you'd simply like to spend your weekends somewhere that reminds you why you chose to work with children in the first place.
At F6IT, we're looking for an enthusiastic Weekend SEND Activity Lead to help deliver inspiring recreational activities for children and young people with additional needs across Surrey.
This isn't another classroom, there are no lesson plans, behaviour points or paperwork dominating your day.
Instead, you'll spend your Saturdays helping children experience activities that build confidence, independence and friendships while supporting families who genuinely value everything you do.
About F6IT
Every family deserves opportunities to spend quality time together but unfortunately, for many families raising children with additional needs, opportunities can be limited.
F6IT exists to change that.
Our inclusive activity sessions allow children and young people with disabilities and additional needs to enjoy exciting recreational activities within safe, welcoming environments where everyone is encouraged to participate.
The impact extends far beyond the activities themselves - parents gain confidence, children develop friendships, families become part of an incredibly supportive community.
That's why every member of our team plays such an important role.
About the Position
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you'll oversee the smooth delivery of our weekend sessions.
You'll coordinate volunteers, support activity providers, welcome families and ensure every session is safe, organised and enjoyable for everyone involved.
You'll also act as the designated safeguarding and first aid lead during activities while maintaining high standards of care throughout every session.
You'll become someone families know by name.
Someone children look forward to seeing each weekend.
Someone who helps create experiences they'll remember long after the day has finished.
Why This Role Works So Well Around Education

If you're currently working in a school, you'll already have many of the skills we're looking for.
