Responsibilities

Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures in the IT department.

Conduct regular data privacy impact assessments and audits.

Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.

Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data protection measures into systems and processes.

Monitor and respond to data protection incidents and breaches.

Provide data protection training and awareness programs to staff.

Serve as the point of contact for data protection authorities and data subjects.
