About this role
To take charge of the ward when the ward manager deems it is appropriate in line with achieving relevant objectives. To act as a role model and take a lead role in the patients journey including patient flow and maintain clinical credibility. To ensure practice is continually reviewed and developed, in liaison with the Ward Manager, Deputy Sister/Deputy Charge Nurse , ward team and the Practice Development.
