Who we are

The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity based in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex community that has been working with people with a Learning Disability and autistic people since 1898. Our mission is to work towards being led by people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people to deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities. The people we support tell us that they want “good support from kind and friendly people” – so that is what we are looking for!

Join Grace Eyre to Support a Person with Autism at Chessington World of Adventures – Every Friday!

Are you a thrill-seeker who enjoys rollercoasters, theme parks, and making a real difference in someone's life?

We’re looking for someone to support a person with autism to enjoy their weekly visit to Chessington World of Adventures during the open season.

About the Role

Fridays, 9 am–4 pm

Support one individual with autism to enjoy their weekly trip to Chessington

Engage in theme park activities — yes, including going on the rides!

Must be a driver with access to a car (mileage paid at £0.45 per mile)

Are you?

Enthusiastic, outgoing and comfortable with busy environments?

Confident going on rides and engaging positively throughout the day?

Do you have experience supporting people with autism either professionally or personally?

Patient, reliable and up for a fun and active day every Friday?

A driver with access to a car? - Mileage will be paid inline with our policy

People we support would like someone who is Kind, patient well organised and trustworthy. Understanding in Autism and Active support would be preferred but not necessary as training is provided.
