The role will entail assessing and treating individuals with mild-moderate eating disorder symptoms, within and across core teams in one allocated borough. The post holder will work collaboratively with the core teams to identify and coordinate referrals into the pathway. They will screen and assess relevant individuals for the pathway in order to deliver evidence based treatments for eating disorders including CBT-ED and CBT-T. They will consult with the moderate-severe St Ann’s Eating Disorder Service (SEADS) to discuss cases that may require a step-up in treatment or medical monitoring and liaise with the SAEDS for cases that need to be stepped down to the Eating Disorder Recovery hubs. They will be responsible for promotion of the pathway within their borough, including providing training and consultation within the core team and with other relevant services. The post holder will also help co-ordinate and maintain spaces for reflective practice, CPD and training where required. This post would be suitable for someone who is passionate about eating disorders and wants to make a real difference in the lives of those suffering with eating disorders.
