To further develop the role of the cardiac arrhythmia specialist nurse.Maintain and develop individual expert knowledge. Maintaining highstandards of clinical competence and professional development through self -education and higher level study.Maintain own professional portfolio.Contribute to the development of specialist nursing knowledge and skills toenhance and extend the practice of other nurses and health careprofessionals within the service.Organise and contribute to relevant educational programmes and in housestudy days.To develop and maintain a peer network of support, information and learningwith other specialist practitioners at local and National level.Willingness to work independently and use initiative as required.Maintain accurate information and ensure patient confidentiality.To achieve PDR targets in line with Directorate/Trust business plans andKPIs.Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights.
