About the role
Skegness College is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Building Services Programme Leader to join our team at our new purpose-built campus. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced industry professional to support the continued growth of our Building Services provision while inspiring and developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
The successful candidate will lead and deliver high-quality learning programmes, ensuring learners receive an outstanding educational experience through effective planning, delivery, and assessment. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will play a key role in supporting learner achievement and progression while helping to meet the needs of our local communities.
Previous teaching experience is welcome but not essential. We encourage applications from industry professionals looking to transition into education and share their knowledge and expertise with future Building Services professionals.

The working pattern for this role is 8:30am - 5pm on a Thursday.
About the person
Are you an experienced Building Services professional looking to inspire the next generation of industry talent? We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Programme Leader to join our team, bringing valuable industry expertise and a passion for developing learners. You will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification or above, have strong occupational competency within the sector, and possess excellent communication skills that enable you to engage, motivate, and support students to achieve their full potential.
This role requires someone who can effectively manage workloads, work collaboratively as part of a team, and create a positive learning environment that encourages success. A teaching qualification, previous teaching or training experience, and an assessor qualification are desirable, but we also welcome applications from industry professionals who are keen to share their knowledge and develop their teaching career. GCSE Grade 4/C (or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2) in Maths and English is essential.
