About this role

Masstemps are currently recruting for a full time, permanent sales executive to join a busy and expanding manufacturing company based in the heart of Kidderminster.

The role is critical in ensuring smooth order processing, accurate documentation, and efficient coordination between sales, production, and customers.This position suits someone detail-focused, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilites

Sales, Quotation & Order Processing

Prepare, write up, and issue customer quotations accurately and in a timely manner

Ensure quotations align with pricing structures, specifications, and project requirements.

Send quotes to customers and merchants and manage any follow-up activity

Proactively follow up open quotations to secure orders and maintain pipeline visibility

Maintain quotation logs and update outcomes (won/lost/pending)

Process customer purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner

Input and maintain orders within the internal system

Check order details against quotations, drawings, and specifications

Issue order acknowledgements and confirm key delivery information to customer

Customer & Internal Communication

Act as a key point of contact for order updates and general queries

Liaise with customers, merchants, and internal teams to resolve order issues

Provide updates on lead times, delivery schedules, and production status

Support Sales Managers with customer communication follow-ups

Production & Technical Coordination

Work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure correct specifications are issued for manufacture

Ensure drawings, revisions, and approvals are correctly logged and distributed

Highlight discrepancies between quotations, orders, and manufacturing requirements

Maintain accurate records of orders, pricing, and customer information

Manage filing of quotations, purchase orders, and supporting documentation

Ensure all internal systems are kept up to date and accurate

The ideal candidate will have

Previous experience in a sales support, sales admin, or order processing role (manufacturing/construction preferred but not necessary)

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously

Hours of work

Monday - Friday 36 hours per week.

Rate of pay

Up to 30k per hour with a clear bonus structure in place.
