We are looking for a kind, reliable, and patient live-in carer to support an independent lady in her own home.
This is a relaxed role with no fixed daily routine outside of her regular weekly activities.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, respectful of her independence, and happy to provide support where needed while encouraging her to remain as independent as possible.

Main Duties
- Encouragement and assistance with showering and personal care e.g. turn on shower if needed.
- Prepare meals and drinks as required. She is able to make herself a cup of tea but cannot safely use other kitchen appliances.
- Carry out light household duties, including cleaning, washing, and drying laundry.
- Support with grocery shopping. Shopping can be completed online with home delivery, or at the local Co-op nearby.
- Provide companionship and support during outings and social activities.
Weekly Activities

Monday
Accompany her to a coffee morning (approximately 1.5 hours) and remain with her during the visit.

Thursday
Support her to attend her local day centre.
- Assist with visits to friends by dropping her off when appropriate, as she can often be left with friends independently. Friends also regularly visit her at home.
- Mobility
- She is mobile using a walking stick.
Evenings and Nights
- She prefers to decide for herself when she goes to bed and is able to put herself to bed independently.
- She will wake during the night to go to the lavatory herself which she can manage.
- She may also wake scared in the night and will then need reassurance.

- Lady vapes in the house so the PA would need to be comfortable with this

If the role is employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay and issued an employment contract.
