Senior MSK Physiotherapist, Deputy Lead Cromwell Hospital, London, SW5 0TU Permanent role Salary - Competitive salary Full Time - 37.5 hours, including late and early shifts We make health happen. Working as our Senior MSK Physiotherapist, Deputy Lead, you'll provide assessment and treatment for adults with MSK conditions and may also include some older teenage patients through implementation of specialist MSK treatments to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes. As Deputy Lead MSK Physiotherapist, you will support the Lead MSK Physiotherapist in the operational and clinical leadership of the service. You will deputise in their absence, providing day-to-day clinical oversight, caseload support, and contributing to service delivery, performance, and patient flow. You will be actively involved in service development initiatives, audit, and quality improvement to ensure high standards of care and continuous service enhancement. You will be expected to establish and maintain efficient communication within the multi-disciplinary team (both internal and external) to ensure a holistic and complete duty of care. This includes verbal, non-verbal and written communication, both in expression and active listening, to facilitate accurate comprehension of information. How you'll help us make health happen: Be independently responsible for the Physiotherapy management of your patient load and to practice as an accountable professional using reflective practice and clinical reasoning in undertaking specialist assessment in order to provide an individualized treatment program for each patient.Obtain informed, valid consent on an ongoing basis which endeavours to keep them involved in their own health care plan. This includes education to support ongoing management.Provide programs of care for the MSK patients in your care through assessment and implementation of specialist MSK treatments in order to maximize their rehabilitation outcomes.Represent and advocate for your patients' needs within the multidisciplinary team, including attending MDT meetings as required.Provide appropriate information, education and support for your client group.Comply with confidentiality policies as set out by Cromwell Hospital (CH), HCPC and the CSP.Respect a patient's right to be chaperoned and appropriately implement the hospital chaperone policy.Accept accountability for your clinical and non-clinical actions.Maintain accurate, comprehensive and timely patient treatment records.Manage clinical risk within your caseload at all times and ensure potential clinical risk is effectively communicated and managed.Promote dignity, privacy and safety at all times, with particular consideration of the patient's cultural, spiritual and personal needs and preferences. Degree in physiotherapyHCPC RegistrationEnhanced DBS clearanceCSP MembershipMember of special interest groupFurther qualifications in one or more of the following is desirable: MSK, sports rehabilitation shockwave therapy, acupuncture, TMJ physiotherapy, and/or alternatively Male & Female Health.Proven knowledge experience, competence and confidence in MSK conditionsKnowledge and experience in fitting Orthopaedic/ MSK braces and other relevant itemsConfident and able to work unsupervisedSound clinical reasoning skillsCommitment to multi-disciplinary teamworkEvidence of CPD / record of mandatory trainingKnowledge of the Care Standards Act and Care and Quality Commission Requirements.Knowledge of Quality Assurance tools.Strong organizational and planning skills, including risk management.Knowledge of health and safety issues in a therapy settingUK healthcare experienceProficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.Previous experience working in a private MSK setting in the
