How you'll help us make health happen. As a healthcare assistant you will provide high-quality clinical and administrative support to the dermatology team, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate patient care in a private clinical setting. Support patients before, during, and after dermatological consultations and proceduresPrepare treatment rooms, equipment, and sterile instrumentsAssist the Dermatologist / Nurse with minor surgical procedures, biopsies, laser treatments and wound careApply dressings and provide post-procedure care as directedTake and manage clinical photographs where required by DermatologistsMaintain patient dignity, comfort and confidentiality at all timesAccurately update and maintain electronic medical records within their scope of practiceManage consent forms and clinical documentation as requiredAssist with appointment scheduling and patient flowHandle clinical correspondence and basic reporting using Microsoft OfficeMonitor and replenish clinical stock and suppliesMaintain confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations Key Skills / Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)Care Certificate (completed)Dermatology Specific TrainingSafeguarding Training (Adults / Children)Basic Life Support (or willingness to undertake training)Infection prevention and control trainingPrevious experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a healthcare settingFamiliarity with basic medical terminologyCompetent in the use of Microsoft Office and electronic record systemsExperience in dermatology, outpatient, or private clinical settingsExperience assisting with minor surgical or aesthetic procedures Benefits Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
