Sales Assistant / Delivery Driver

Allisons Butchers is seeking a reliable, flexible, and customer-focused individual to join our team. This is predominantly a mobile sales assistant role operating from our dedicated van. "On YOUR Block"

You will be the face of our business, bringing our products directly to the community in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

While the role is focused on mobile sales, you will also work flexibly to support our retail shop as required by the business.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Sales & Shop Duties

Customer Service

Providing friendly, professional service and answering product queries from the mobile van and in-store.

Transactions

Processing customer payments using the Point of Sale (POS) system and handling cash.

Shop Support

Assisting with wrapping, stocking the van and shop, and ensuring the sales floor is organised.

Hygiene

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, including end-of-day cleaning duties for both the vehicle and shop premises.

Driving & Delivery Duties

Van Operation

Safely driving the mobile butcher van to designated locations and events.

Vehicle Care

Performing basic daily checks (fuel, fluids, and cleanliness) and reporting any defects.

Manual Handling

Safely loading and unloading products; the role involves lifting and standing for extended periods.
