About this role

There is an excellent opportunity to develop both your clinical and leadership skills within the North Hub CMHTs based at Northcroft. We are a well established and highly functional team, committed to maintaining high standards and delivering quality care to our diverse community.

As an experienced and skilled clinician, you will provide appropriate and compassionate care, while also offering clinical leadership, support, and supervision to other clinical staff.

You will support the team by providing advice and guidance on the management of complex clinical cases.

You will work as an integral part of the Community Mental Health Team, which will include undertaking some direct clinical work. In addition, you will provide clinical leadership to ensure clear protocols are in place and to maintain consistency and quality of care for all service users under the North Hub CMHTs.

You will support safe, efficient, and high quality transitions across appropriate care pathways, and ensure the team works collaboratively with multi agency partners across the Birmingham and Solihull system.

You will work as part of a team, taking every opportunity to impact both directly and indirectly on the health and wellbeing of all clients on the caseload. You will be able to work both under direction and autonomously, as agreed with the team manager, demonstrating safe clinical decision making and delivering compassionate care.

Welcome to Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Our 4000 clinical and support staff help us to improve mental health wellbeing and meet the needs of the 70,000 people we serve each year. We provide a range of mental healthcare services across Birmingham and Solihull, as well as specialised services nationally. We also offer medical, nursing and psychology training and are proud of our international reputation for both research and innovation.

Our population is culturally diverse, characterised in places by high levels of deprivation which create an increasing demand for our services and a necessity for us to make sure everyone can access the help they need. We are a team of compassionate, inclusive and committed people working together to provide excellent care to support our community. If you are looking for a place to belong, where you can make a real difference to people’s lives, join our team where our warm welcome is waiting for you.
