Bank Domestic Assistant - Band 2 | Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust

TomaintainthecleanlinessoftheWard/Departmentenvironmentinaccordancewith the cleaning schedule identified in Mid Essex Hospital Trust and National Specification for Cleanliness Standards guidelines.

· Tocleanallareas/wards/departmentseffectivelyinaccordancewiththeareasrisk rating and frequencies specified.

· Cleaninfectedroom/areasonthewardinlinewiththeTerminalCleanPolicy.

· Change curtains in line with the curtain programme or as required for Terminal and deep clean processes.

· Carry out cleaning duties which will include wet mopping, damp dusting, control sweeping, gum removal, suction cleaning, vacuuming, buffing, scrubbing and sealing of floor, high and low dusting and wall washing.

· CarryoutallcleaningdutiestotherequiredNational specificationforCleanliness (NSC) and ensure all operational documentations are filled in appropriately.

· Attend all mandatory and professional development training as planned and scheduled by the department.

· Respondtocleaningincidents/emergencyasrequiredbylinemanagement

· Carry out standard clean to ensure all daily, weekly and periodic cleaning tasks are completed as scheduled by management.
