We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join a well-established container transport company operating from Tilbury Docks.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for ongoing work with a modern, well-maintained fleet.

Competitive hourly rates of £18.00–£24.00 per hour (depending on experience and assignment)

5:00 AM start times

Modern fleet of MAN TGX tractor units (2019–2021 plates)

The role

Container haulage work from Tilbury Docks

Safe and efficient delivery and collection of containers

Completing all relevant paperwork and complying with transport regulations

Providing a professional service to customers

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous container driving experience is essential

Port card preferred (or willingness to obtain one)

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

Nights Out

Nights out are not a requirement and are only occasionally needed. However, flexibility to complete the rare overnight stay would be appreciated and may provide additional work opportunities.
