Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for developing new business within the engineering, HVAC, building services or construction sectors?

We are looking for an ambitious Instrument Solutions Sales Manager to join a growing technical team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, develop key client relationships and promote a portfolio of specialist instrument solutions to customers across the UK.

The Role

As the Instrument Solutions Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while managing and developing existing customer accounts. Working alongside technical specialists, you'll provide consultative sales solutions and play a key role in delivering the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through networking, research and proactive outreach.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
  • Develop existing client accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations and commercial negotiations.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
  • Work closely with technical and marketing teams to support business growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales activity.
  • Analyse market trends and identify new commercial opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

About You

You'll ideally have

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Business Development, Technical Sales or Account Management.
  • Experience selling into the engineering, construction, HVAC or building services sectors.
  • A proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building abilities.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent organisational skills.
  • The ability to understand technical products and deliver consultative sales solutions.
