The Best Connection Reading is seeking a reliable Class 2 Driver / Warehouse Operator.

Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 17:00 PM

Pay

£17.30 per hour

The Role

We are seeking a versatile and proactive individual for a dynamic dual-purpose role. Split between the road and the warehouse, your time will be divided between multi-drop driving and hands-on warehouse operations as required.

Key Driving Duties

Conducting multi-drop deliveries.
Checking load security and weight distribution at the start and end of each shift.
Performing daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
Loading and unloading the vehicles.
Securing signed, dated, and prompt Proof of Delivery (POD) documents.

Key Warehouse Duties

Picking computer-generated orders involving repetitive manual handling of large and heavy items.
Transferring stock efficiently using manual handling, forklift trucks, and cranes. (Training Provided)
Assisting in the production and dispatch of customer orders.
Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately for inventory control.

About You

A valid Class 2 Licence
A valid Driver CPC & Digital Tacho Card.
Ideally, previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment utilizing Forklift Trucks, Cranes, or Material Handling equipment.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
An efficient, organized, and methodical approach to your workload.
A flexible, "one-team" mindset
