What we are looking for
Recent experience of providing care in a health or social care setting, with the confidence to support people with dignity, compassion and respect. An understanding of person-centred care, ideally including palliative or end-of-life care, and a genuine commitment to making a difference to patients and those important to them. The ability to communicate sensitively and professionally, recognising when to escalate concerns or changes in a persons condition to the wider clinical team. A caring, flexible and resilient approach, with the ability to work independently while remaining part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. Good basic IT skills, including the ability to use email, online training, mobile technology and care recording systems. An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification, is desirable but not essential. A valid driving license, access to a vehicle with business insurance, and flexibility to travel up to 25 miles from your home address across Staffordshire and Stoke, including during unsocial hours.
