About this role
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, as travelling between our sites in Basildon and Thurrock is required.

MAIN DUTIES
· Must be able to drive as you will be required to clean at both our sites in Basildon and Thurrock.
· Clean and sanitise refuges, office spaces, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
· Ensure all surfaces, floors, and furniture are kept clean and free of dirt and dust to the highest standard
· Replenish cleaning supplies and ensure they are stored safely.
· Empty bins and dispose of waste in an environmentally responsible manner.
· Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues.
· Ensure cleaning schedules are followed and tasks are completed within agreed time frames.
· Assist with additional cleaning duties as required, such as deep cleaning or special event preparations.
· Report any health and safety issues or hazards to the relevant manager.
· Follow all relevant health and safety guidelines and procedures.
· Support the wider charity team with any ad-hoc tasks as needed.
