The Role We are seeking an experienced and drivenCentre Managerto provide operational leadership for Brighton Diagnostic Treatment Centre. You will have overall responsibility for theday-to-day performance, regulatory compliance, quality, and commercial successof the centre, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of all diagnostic services. You will also act as theCQC Registered Manager, taking full accountability for governance, inspection readiness, and regulatory compliance. This is a senior leadership role, ideally suited to aqualified Radiographerwith substantial experience in diagnostic imaging operations and previous experience as an Imaging Manager or similar senior role. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead and oversee the daily operation of the centre, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across all modalities. Optimise patient flow, capacity, utilisation, waiting times, and booking efficiency. Ensure appropriate staffing, resources, and equipment to meet clinical and operational demand. Governance, Quality & Compliance Act as CQC Registered Manager for the site. Maintain robust governance arrangements, including audit, risk management, incident reporting, and service improvement. Ensure compliance with CQC standards, IR(ME)R, radiation protection, IPC, and wider healthcare regulations. Lead inspection preparedness and embed continuous quality improvement. Leadership & People Management Provide visible, supportive leadership to multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams. Lead recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, and staff development. Build a positive, high-performing culture focused on safety, accountability, and patient-centred care. Stakeholder & Relationship Management Build strong relationships with consultants, referrers, GPs, NHS Trusts, and external partners. Act as an ambassador for the centre within the local healthcare community. Support referral growth and collaborative service development. Business & Commercial Performance Contribute to business planning, service development, and growth initiatives. Monitor budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve utilisation, productivity, and commercial outcomes. Patient Experience Champion a patient-first approach across the centre. Monitor patient feedback, complaints, and outcomes to drive continuous improvement. About You Essential Significant senior leadership experience within healthcare, ideally diagnostic imaging. Strong governance, quality, and regulatory compliance background. Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex operations. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills. Commercial awareness and experience contributing to service performance and growth. Able to undertake and fulfil the responsibilities of a CQC Registered Manager. Desirable HCPC-registered Radiographer. Previous experience as an Imaging Manager or Centre Manager. Experience within independent healthcare or diagnostic services. Management or leadership qualification. Experience leading regulatory inspections. Why Join Us?
