What you will do

• Conduct and report Early Pregnancy and Gynaecological ultrasound scans independently
• Manage early pregnancy complications and support patients in sensitive situations
• Work autonomously, using your clinical judgement to identify abnormal findings and escalate appropriately
• Produce accurate ultrasound reports and maintain clinical documentation
• Use imaging IT systems proficiently and ensure high standards of patient care
• Communicate findings clearly and reassure patients, providing professional and sensitive information
• Support and supervise trainee sonographers and junior staff, enhancing team development
• Effectively handle ultrasound workload, including outpatient clinics, emergency referrals, and urgent bookings

Requirements

• Must hold a recognised Ultrasound qualification such as DCR R, BSc, DMU, PGD, or MSc in relevant fields
• Must be HCPC registered as a Radiographer with relevant ultrasound experience
• Preferably 1–2 years of NHS experience in ultrasound, gynaecology, or Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit EPAU
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage patient care professionally
• Car driver preferred
