About this role

Rhotic Media, an award-winning events and media company and recipient of the King's Award for Enterprise, is seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Executive to join its growing commercial team.

Working across the company's flagship brands, Financial Promoter and Capital Pioneer, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business revenue through the sale of conferences, events, sponsorship packages and media opportunities to senior professionals within the financial services sector.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with experience in B2B sales, telesales, media sales or event sales, or someone looking to build a successful career in a fast-paced commercial environment. The position offers uncapped commission, ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and generate new business opportunities on a daily basis.

Research and build a pipeline of at least 100 new leads per day.

Develop, manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals.

Engage potential clients via telephone, email and social media.

Accurately record all activity, opportunities and sales progress within the CRM system.

Understand client needs and recommend appropriate event, sponsorship and media solutions.

Professionally handle objections and negotiate to secure new business.

Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to support sales growth.

Promote conferences, events, sponsorship opportunities and media products.

Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

Build strong relationships with clients and gain a deep understanding of their business objectives.

Identify emerging trends and commercial opportunities that can be developed into future products and revenue streams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Confident speaking with senior decision-makers over the phone.

Self-motivated, resilient and target-driven.

Well-organised with strong attention to detail.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in B2B sales, telesales, event sales, sponsorship sales or media sales is desirable.

Familiarity with CRM systems.

An interest in financial services, investment markets and industry events.
