About this role
- An opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Registered Nurse to support and lead the Surgical Outpatient Department at St George's.
- We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and innovative nurse NMC registered nurse with Post- registration experience, to join us to lead and work as part of our Outpatient nursing team supporting Outpatient areas within the hospital.

- Please note that our core hours are Monday – Saturday 8am to 8pm

- The successful candidate will work across services providing leadership in terms of clinical, specialist advice to adults attending a wide range of clinics and services.
- The post holder will provide visible leadership, training and supervision, and will act as the interface between Outpatients services and the rest of the Trust.
- In addition management of budget resources, through monthly reviews with matron and finance officer.
- Support and deputise for the Outpatient Matron to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care and the effective management of staffs.
- Also, to ensure that there are education and training opportunities for all staff, including pre and post registration students and /or providing specialist knowledge if working in a clinical area where a post registration course is essential.
- To ensure that the environment offers a safe and comfortable area for patients.
