Main Duties and Responsibilities)

Requsyol is a specialist recruitment agency dedicated to connecting top

talent with leading organisations. We are currently seeking a skilled and

proactive Network Administrator to join our internal IT team. In this role, you

will be responsible for the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of our

internal network and IT infrastructure, which is vital to our daily operations and

ability to serve our clients and candidates effectively.

As our Network Administrator, you will be the technical expert responsible for

the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of Requsyol's

network. You will ensure that our network, including routers, switches, firewalls,

and access points, is reliable and secure. Your duties will encompass

monitoring network performance, managing user access, implementing

security protocols, and planning for future network upgrades to support our

agency's growth.

Your key duties will include

Network Configuration and Maintenance

Designing, configuring, and

maintaining the organisation's network infrastructure, including routers,

switches, firewalls, and access points to ensure reliable and high-speed

connectivity for all staff.

Network Monitoring

Implementing and managing network monitoring tools

to continuously track network performance, bandwidth utilisation, and

proactively identify potential security threats or bottlenecks.

•

Security Management

Implementing and maintaining network security

protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems

(IDS/IPS), and VPNs, to protect sensitive company and client data from cyber

threats.

User Access Control

Managing user access to network resources by

configuring user accounts, permissions, and access controls, ensuring that

staff have the correct level of access to perform their roles securely.

Network Upgrades and Expansion

Planning and executing network

upgrades, expansions, and migrations as the organisation's needs evolve,

ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

•

Backup and Recovery

Setting up and managing network backup systems

and recovery operations to ensure business continuity and data integrity in

the event of a system failure or outage.

Troubleshooting

Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving complex network

issues, providing technical support to internal users and liaising with external

suppliers when necessary.

Documentation

Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical

documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational

procedures.

Person specification (Skill, Qualification,

Experience)

Essential

• Proven experience in a network administration role or similar position.
• Strong knowledge of network administration and communication protocols,

including TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, WLAN, and VLAN.

• Experience operating and managing network devices and services, including

routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Knowledge of network security principles, VPN implementation, and

encryption techniques.

Desirable

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a

related field.

• Relevant professional certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or

CCNP.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, agency, or professional services

environment.

• Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
