8.00-13.00 About the Role As a Care Assistant, you'll support vulnerable individuals in their own homes, helping them to live safely, independently, and with dignity. You'll assist with a range of tasks, from personal care to emotional support and everyday activities.

Service User-Specific Information

We are seeking a dedicated professional to support a client living with Motor Neurone

Disease (MND) on a 2

1 basis. The client has two young children, so we are looking for someone who is energetic, engaging, and comfortable in a family-oriented environment. You will also assist the client with high-tech communication tools.

Your responsibilities will include

Tracheostomy Care (Essential)

-

Suctioning and Cough Assist

-

PEG feeding, Ventilator, and Nebulizer management

-

Supporting non-verbal communication via eye-gaze technology

-

Complex Manual Handling

-

Personal and pressure area care

-

Meal preparation and feeding assistance

-

Companionship and emotional support

-

Following care plans and reporting changes or concerns

Who We're Looking For

-

A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.

-

Mandatory experience in Tracheostomy care.

-

Tech-savvy and comfortable with computers/home technology.

-

Great with kids; a positive and bright presence in the home.

-

Right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

-

Preferably female (males will be considered).
