Are you an experienced Early Years Practitioner looking for the next step in your career?
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Early Years Trainee Room-Based Deputy Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Level 3 qualified practitioner who is ready to develop their leadership skills while continuing to have a positive impact on children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Working alongside the Nursery Manager and wider leadership team, you will gain valuable experience in supporting the day-to-day operation of the setting, leading practice, mentoring colleagues and maintaining high standards of care and education.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Early Years, enjoys supporting others and is looking to progress into a leadership position within the sector.
The Role Includes
Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager with the effective running of the setting.
Taking an active role within a nursery room while developing leadership responsibilities.
Supporting and mentoring Early Years Practitioners to deliver high-quality practice.
Acting as a positive role model and promoting excellent standards of care and education.
Supporting the implementation of the EYFS framework and the nursery curriculum.
Helping to monitor children’s development, observations and assessments.
Supporting the identification of children’s individual needs and ensuring inclusive practice.
Assisting with staff deployment, routines and maintaining effective room organisation.
Supporting safeguarding practice and ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
Contributing to quality improvement, reflective practice and continuous development within the setting.
Building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
