Joiner/Fabric Engineer

We're looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to provide Mobile delivery of facilities support services across our client sites, covering the Falkirk postcodes.

This role constitutes regulated work in an education setting under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. It is an essential requirement of this position that the successful candidate is a member of the PVG Scheme, or is able to become a member, prior to a formal offer of employment being confirmed. Mitie will meet the cost of the PVG application.

Role Responsibilities

-Undertaking all building fabric activities, such as patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry

-Inspection and repair on all internal doors and architraves

-Basic decorating tasks related to repairs

-Completing PPM and reactive works as per helpdesk requests

-Ensuring you are working to high levels of health and safety and statutory requirements

-Required to answer queries, report any defects and keep the client informed of site activities at the time of the service visit

What we're looking for

-Full, current driving license

-Background in facilities or mobile maintenance, in a construction or similar environment

-Qualified to Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds
