We're looking for a Helpdesk Operator to join our team and provide a professional, efficient and customer-focused helpdesk service, managing calls, emails and requests while ensuring all information is accurately logged and processed.

Role Responsibilities

-Act as the first point of contact for the Mitie team by answering incoming calls and emails to the helpdesk efficiently and professionally.

-Manage the flow of helpdesk requests to ensure a continuous, effective and timely service is delivered to customers and stakeholders.

-Accurately log, update and maintain helpdesk information on the relevant database, ensuring timely input and output of all associated data.

-Monitor performance against service level agreements, supporting the team in meeting challenging deadlines and operational requirements.

-Follow Mitie policies, processes and procedures at all times, maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high standard of customer service across the site.

Required Qualifications

-Previous customer service experience, with the ability to manage telephone and email requests in a professional and efficient manner.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with employees, customers and stakeholders.

-Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills, including a confident working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems.

-Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.

-A professional approach, with the ability to maintain confidentiality, support service delivery and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
