This full-time locum position offers a 3-month contract where you will utilise your expertise in adult safeguarding to manage complex cases and support vulnerable adults across the community. What you will do
•
Manage complex adult safeguarding cases.
•
Undertake Section 42 safeguarding enquiries in line with statutory requirements.
•
Complete Care Act assessments and reviews.
•
Conduct Mental Capacity Assessments and make Best Interest decisions.
•
Work collaboratively with health professionals, care providers, and partner agencies.
•
Develop safeguarding plans and risk management strategies.
•
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
•
Represent the local authority at safeguarding meetings and multi-agency forums.
Qualifications/Requirements
•
Social Work England registration is essential.
•
Recognised Social Work qualification.
•
Significant post-qualification experience within Adult Social Care.
•
Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and Adult Safeguarding legislation.
•
Proven experience managing complex safeguarding casework.
•
Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
