What you will do

Conference Coordination

Schedule, organise, and coordinate Child Protection Conferences and related safeguarding meetings.

Minute Taking

Accurately record and summarise complex discussions, decisions, and actions from meetings using a laptop.

Documentation

Prepare and distribute high-quality minutes and reports within agreed timescales.

Information Management

Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Communication

Liaise effectively with social workers, managers, partner agencies, and other stakeholders.

Administrative Support

Ensure all meeting documentation is prepared, circulated, and stored appropriately.

IT Systems

Utilise Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other systems to manage workloads and maintain records efficiently.

Quality Assurance

Ensure reports and records meet required standards, policies, and statutory requirements.

Flexible Attendance

Attend office locations and conference venues across Cardiff when required.

Qualifications / Requirements

Administrative Experience

Previous experience in an administrative, business support, safeguarding, or social care environment.

Minute Taking Skills

Experience producing accurate and detailed minutes from complex meetings is highly desirable.

Communication Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Confidentiality

Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Organisational Skills
