Part-Time, Fixed Term (0.8 FTE)
Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in Mathematics (Teaching Focus) in the Department of Computing, Security and Mathematics. This is a fixed-term, 0.8 FTE role to provide secondment cover from 1 September 2026 until 31 July 2029.
Applicants should possess the broad range of skills required to teach effectively at undergraduate level, and to lead others in teaching delivery and development. They should demonstrate strong commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our students. They will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and engage with students using a variety of different methods.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach and supervise at undergraduate level, taking full responsibility for the design, management and delivery of undergraduate modules in mathematics. They will also be required to contribute to the academic administration of the department.

The post is based in Egham where the University is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
As this is a fixed term post to cover a period of sabbatical leave until 31 July 2029, this appointment could end earlier than expected should the substantive post-holder return to work early.
