About this role
Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and inspirational Digital Matron to lead the development, implementation and delivery of innovative digital health services across our organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated clinical leader who is passionate about improving patient care through digital transformation. Working as part of the senior Digital Services team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the Trust’s Digital Strategy and supporting the modernisation of healthcare services through the effective use of technology.
You will support major transformation programmes requiring significant clinical engagement and collaboration, helping to embed digital solutions that improve patient outcomes, staff experience and service efficiency. The role involves working closely with clinical teams across the Trust, providing expert advice, support and facilitation to ensure successful digital adoption and change management.
As a visible and accessible clinical leader, you will champion safe, effective and patient-centred digital services while ensuring that patients, carers and staff are actively involved in the development, delivery and evaluation of digital initiatives.
Join us and help transform healthcare through digital innovation.

We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.
We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.
We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as ‘outstanding’ for care and our King’s Mill Hospital as the only ‘outstanding’ NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
