About this role
Group Facilitation To develop high-standard interventions and group workshop content and resources that are in line with client and community needs To facilitate or co-facilitate interventions on a group or individual basis, arranging sessions, collating materials and resources as required To risk assess and manage group dynamics on-site, online and in the community To undertake protocol-based psychological assessments of clients including self-report measures and rating scales e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7 To promote and discuss wellbeing interventions with potential participants, staff and stakeholders to encourage attendance and engagement To prepare for interventions and sessions which will include understanding the material and appropriate delivery method given the range of needs presented by group participants To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping and report writing in accordance with Trust policies and procedures and relevant professional codes of practice To assist the team in undertaking data collection, analysis and production of reports and summaries, in relation to primary care mental health services Co-Production To edit and adapt intervention content in line with co-production discussions across community groups To create or develop novel workshops for the Trust To work with community members to develop specific and tailored interventions for explicit groups To help research and draft marketing material for publication by the team, supporting other members of the team and working with managers across the service Community Engagement To proactively engage and work with individuals and groups to develop bespoke interventions to meet a variety of needs To develop strong links with established agencies, community organisations and forums related to the role To develop collaborative partnerships working with other primary care services To develop community drop-ins across the borough To identify those communities least likely to access services and target them with a community engagement plan To provide presentations and interventions to organisations and community groups To raise awareness of wellbeing and mental health across the borough, challenging stigma and discrimination Social Media To be responsible for the day-to-day updating of the Sutton Talking Therapies social media platforms (Instagram, Bluesky and YouTube) under the direction of Wellbeing Navigators, including recording and reporting regular information and trends on followers and likes To use social media to market and promote the wellbeing teams community work and drop-ins to encourage local engagement with the service Other Duties To handle and be sensitive to the use of confidential patient information. To maintain appropriate and cordial relationships with patients, carers and other stakeholders To be able to work in a team under pressure of timed deadlines To work independently with the ability to juggle numerous tasks To produce written work to a high standard To receive individual supervision Any other activities as requested by your line manager Training and Development To undertake mandatory and statutory training as required by Trust policy To receive training for professional development
