Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next challenge in children's residential care? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated leader to oversee a children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and support for young people.

The Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards while creating a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.

You will lead and inspire your team, maintain excellent relationships with local authorities and external professionals, and ensure every child receives outstanding, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day management of the children's home.
• Ensure full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding requirements.
• Promote positive outcomes and high-quality care for children and young people.
• Lead, develop, supervise, and motivate the staff team.
• Manage recruitment, training, performance, and staff development.
• Build effective relationships with families, local authorities, education providers, and healthcare professionals.
• Monitor budgets, resources, and the overall performance of the home.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent standards across the service.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience managing a children's residential home.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards it).
• Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce.
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding.
• Previous experience within an LD and/or EBD setting is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
