About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Clerical Officer to join a busy Accounts Payable team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their administrative experience within a professional office environment.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices and related documentation are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and inputting invoice data accurately.
- Opening and distributing incoming post.
- Batching and preparing invoices for processing.
- Managing email correspondence and responding to queries.
- Handling incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Providing administrative support to the Accounts Payable team.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Assisting with other general clerical and administrative duties as required.
Essential Criteria
- Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous finance or accounts experience would be advantageous.
- Good Excel skills would be beneficial.
