About this role
The Continuing HealthCare Service delivers assessments and support to adults and children within NWL ICB
The role will coordinate and support the administration of Continuing Healthcare Retrospective Claims and Appeals. This role delivers a specific support function to the ICB with regard to the challenges of the close down of the Previous Un-assessed Periods of Care (PUPoC).
Furthermore provides support for the management of Appeals which are challenges to individual Continuing Healthcare decision making. This role facilitates the administration of decision making to ensure it is robust, reducing further funding reimbursement challenges. If these challenges exceed local resolution there is a process with NHSE for an Independent Review Panel (IRP) this Administrator will support the ICB nurse representative at these panels.

All staff, particularly those involved in development or delivery of patient services, will be expected to engage appropriately with members of the public and stakeholders, including attending meetings and responding to queries as required.
