HGV CAT C DRIVER

We are currently looking for a Class 2 driver - HGV Cat C Driver to work for our client based in Eastleigh. This is a full time job which has an annual salary of approx £36,000 per year. The job has an immediate start. Please see all the details below;

• As a Class 2 HGV Cat C Driver you will be asked to deliver Palletised goods to customers in and around Southampton.
• Your working week will be Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday morning every 4/5 weeks,
• Your start time will be 7.00am and your average working day will be 8-10 hours.
• Your average working week is 45 hours and overtime is paid after 40 hours.
• Overtime is paid at £22.50 per hour.
• The annual salary works out to £36,000 plus overtime
• All deliveries will be palatalised and most deliveries will be off loaded by Forklifts by the clients.
• The company will provide an electric pump truck
• Your lorry will be an 18 0r 26 ton curtainsider vehicle with a tail lift.
• Your average working day will consist of local deliveries in SO post codes and collections towards the end of the day.
• The annual salary will be approx £37,500 inclusive of basic weekly overtime.
• The company are a family run business who have been open in Southampton for many years.
• You will need to be a quietly confident driver who knows how to communicate well and have a high level of customer service.
