What you will do

• Undertake comprehensive musculoskeletal assessments and provide clinical reasoning and diagnosis for patients with complex and varied presentations.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised treatment and rehabilitation programmes using evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
• Manage an autonomous outpatient caseload and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HCPC, CSP, and organisational standards.
• Provide patient education, self-management advice, and injury prevention strategies to support long-term recovery and functional independence.
• Liaise effectively with consultants, GPs, insurers, and other healthcare professionals regarding treatment plans, progress, and discharge recommendations.

Person Specification

• A minimum of 3 years of recent MSK outpatient experience.
• Availability for evening shifts.
• Demonstrable experience with the post-operative rehabilitation of patients who have undergone orthopaedic surgery.
• Experience with patients referred from the primary care setting.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) membership.
• Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Postgraduate musculoskeletal or orthopaedic rehabilitation training is desirable.

Registration & Compliance

• Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
