We're looking for an exceptional Care Team Manager to lead across our supported living services in Abergavenny, and drive the next chapter of their development. This role requires more than day-to-day management, we need a leader who can bring a clear vision, fresh ideas, and the confidence to challenge the status quo while keeping the people we support at the heart of every decision.
You'll be joining services with experienced support teams who are dedicated and committed, but we are looking for someone with the passion, resilience, and leadership skills to guide the team in a new direction, embed positive change, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
This is an exciting opportunity for a manager who can inspire others, bring people with them, and demonstrate how great Supported Living services empower individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives.

About the Role
As Team Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team across our supported living services in Abergavenny, ensuring individuals receive high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, and meaningful community involvement.
Our services support women with a range of needs, empowering them to develop new skills, build confidence, maintain important social connections, and achieve their personal goals. Many of the individuals we support share friendship groups and community networks, making relationship-centred support and community inclusion a key part of the role.
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive outcomes, developing your team, and ensuring our services remain safe, compliant, and focused on helping people live their best lives.
You will
Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver person-centred support.
Promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion for the people we support.
Ensure compliance with RISCA, CIW, Social Care Wales, safeguarding, and health and safety requirements.
Oversee care planning, referrals, rotas, and day-to-day service delivery.
Manage recruitment, supervision, performance, and staff development.
Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and partner agencies.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and workforce planning using digital systems.
Participate in the on-call rota and support service development and improvement.

Skills & Experience Needed
Please evidence the following within your application
Your experience working within Social Care and supporting individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
Examples of leadership experience, including how you have guided, supported, or developed teams.
Your Social Care Wales registration status, or willingness to register within the required probationary period.
Your knowledge and use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications.
Your qualification held (QCF Level 5/NVQ Level 4) or progress towards achieving this qualification.
Your ability to travel for work, including confirmation of a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Please provide specific examples wherever possible to demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and experience.
