Clinical Research Fellow

Collect clinical data (including history, examination findings, any investigations) and collate in custom-designed case report forms and databases. Work collaboratively with other members of the research team and clinical colleagues. Recruit and co-ordinate patients for studies and clinical trials Organise, maintain and analyse project data Responsibility for clinical data management and liaison with the lead investigator Participate in weekly clinical meetings Active participation in other ongoing research projects Achieve goals, agreed in discussions with their line manager Present the results of the project in national and international meetings Prepare the results of the project for publication Perform any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the post, the title of the post and its grading as requested by their line manager Undertake patient and public involvement exercises to promote the disease and the research
