What Does a Teaching Assistant Do?
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping students thrive in the classroom.
Your daily responsibilities may include
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Supporting students with their learning on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
- Encouraging students to participate and stay motivated
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way
- Setting up learning materials and resources for activities
- Providing additional help to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Ensuring the classroom is a welcoming and safe learning environment
