Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a tractor and water bowser around the site.
Fill the dust suppression tank from the designated standpipe.
Carry out regular dust suppression by spraying water on haul roads, work areas, and other designated locations.
Monitor water levels and refill the tank as required throughout the shift.
Complete daily pre-start inspections and basic maintenance checks on the tractor and associated equipment.
Report any defects, breakdowns, or safety concerns to the Site Supervisor.
Follow site traffic management plans and all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Maintain a clean and tidy work area and ensure equipment is used responsibly.
Support other site duties as directed by management when required.

Essential Requirements

Valid NPORS or CPCS Tractor Operator card.
Previous experience operating tractors and water bowsers on construction, quarry, or civil engineering sites.
Good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Desirable

Previous experience carrying out dust suppression on construction or quarry sites.
Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge of environmental control measures on construction sites.

Working Conditions

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Operation of heavy plant and machinery on active construction sites.
PPE must be worn at all times in accordance with site requirements
